These terms and requirements are effective for the Nebraska Housing Credit awarded to incoming freshman for the 2021-2022 academic year.
1 |
Renewal of the award is dependent upon continuance in eligible University of Nebraska-Lincoln Housing residential living. Exceptions apply, such as if a student is awarded another benefit in which case the student would receive the greater benefit as opposed to the combined benefit. For example, if the student becomes a residential advisor, the benefits of the residential advisor take precedence and will be processed instead of the Nebraska Housing Credit. |
2 |
There is no minimum grade point average or credit accumulation requirement for renewal. |
3 |
Student must live in a University Housing residence hall and have a University Housing meal plan (View our meal plans here). All halls are eligible for the credit except for Love Memorial Co-op. |
4 |
Students must sign a term academic year contract by May 1st. |
5 |
Student may combine this award with any merit-based or leadership, service, and diversity scholarship offered. |
