Nebraska Housing Credit Guidelines for 2020-2021

These terms and requirements are effective for the Nebraska Housing Credit awarded to incoming freshman for the 2020-2021 academic year and subsequent year.
1

Renewal of the award for a second year is dependent upon continuance in eligible University Housing residential living. Exceptions apply, such as if a student is awarded another benefit in which case the student would receive the greater benefit as opposed to the combined benefit. For example, if the student becomes a residential advisor, the benefits of the residential advisor take precedence and will be processed instead of the Nebraska Housing Credit.

2

There is no minimum grade point average or credit accumulation requirement for renewal to the second year.

3

Student must live in a Traditional or Suite-Style Residence Hall and follow all University Housing contract guidelines and processes. These eligible halls are limited to Eastside Suites, University Suites, Knoll Residential Center, Massengale (Traditional Only), Selleck (except 4000), Harper, Schramm, Smith, Abel, and Sandoz. Any other halls would not be eligible for this credit.

4

Student may combine this award with any merit-based or leadership, service, and diversity scholarship offered except the Husker Living and Learning Scholarship.
