For Academic Year:
2022 - 2023
These terms and requirements are effective for the Nebraska Housing Credit awarded to incoming freshman for the 2022-2023 academic year.
1 | Renewal of the award is dependent upon continuance in eligible University of Nebraska-Lincoln Housing residential living. Exceptions apply, such as if a student is awarded another benefit in which case the student would receive the greater benefit as opposed to the combined benefit. For example, if the student becomes a residential advisor, the benefits of the residential advisor take precedence and will be processed instead of the Nebraska Housing Credit. If your residency status changes, this credit may be cancelled as a result. |
2 | There is no minimum grade point average or credit accumulation requirement for renewal. |
3 | Student must live in a University Housing residence hall and have a University Housing meal plan (View our meal plans here) by May 1. All halls are eligible for the credit except for Love Memorial Co-op. |
4 | Students must sign a term academic year contract by May 1st. |
5 | Student may combine this award with any merit-based or leadership, service, and diversity scholarship offered. |
