Maintaining Eligibility

To receive financial aid, students must be making satisfactory academic progress towards completing their degree (academic goal). Satisfactory progress is measured once annually at the end of each spring semester.

When a student is offered a scholarship, they will receive an official scholarship offer letter from the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid notifying them of the scholarship award and its total value. If renewable, the letter will include where to find the full eligibility and renewal policies and expectations of the scholarship.

Aid eligibility is not necessarily fixed. There are many situations that may alter your financial aid.

Federal and institutional aid is awarded based on the assumption all students will maintain enrollment throughout the semester and complete the term successfully. When either of those do not happen, adjustments may be made to tuition/fees, housing, and/or aid and scholarships.
