Staying informed about scholarship and funding requirements can greatly contribute to your academic success. You can confidently navigate your college journey by understanding satisfactory academic progress, scholarship renewal procedures, and the impact of enrollment changes on financial aid.

Satisfactory Academic Progress

To receive financial aid, students must be making satisfactory academic progress (SAP) towards completing their degree. Satisfactory progress is measured once annually at the end of each spring semester.

Scholarship Renewal

When a student is offered a scholarship, they will receive an official offer letter from the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid notifying them of the award and its total value. If renewable, the letter will include where to find the full eligibility, renewal policies and expectations of the scholarship.

Financial Aid Adjustments

Aid eligibility is not necessarily fixed. There are many situations that may alter your financial aid.

Enrollment Changes

Federal and institutional aid is awarded based on the assumption all students will maintain enrollment throughout the semester and complete the term successfully. When either of those do not happen, adjustments may be made to tuition, fees, housing and/or financial aid and scholarships.
