There is a lot of support available as you search for your Nebraska-based internship, apprenticeship, clinical position, or major-related field of employment. All Nebraska Career Scholarship recipients must complete this requirement by the end of their third academic year in order to receive the scholarship for the fourth year. (The summer prior to the fourth year is allowable.)
We recommend the following steps to help you secure an internship or experience:

Meet with your career coach for resume review, interview prep, and to create a general strategy

Activate your Handshake account early and update your profile once every semester

Create a resume and update it frequently

Attend at least one Career Fair every year

Create a LinkedIn profile

Complete the Experiential Learning Survey every semester

Do a mock interview during one of the offered times on campus or through Big Interview

Pay attention to college and department newsletters to learn about career events specific to your major
