As students completed their last semester under the difficult circumstances of COVID-19 disruption, we created the Nebraska Graduation Pledge to help students complete their degree.
If issues related to COVID-19 knocked students off-track for graduation in Spring 2020, the University committed to covering tuition for any remaining UNL classes needed for Summer 2020 or Fall 2020 to complete graduation requirements.
Students qualified if if they applied for May 2020 graduation by the January deadline and if spring semester coursework would fulfill degree requirements, but issues related to COVID-19 resulted in withdrawing from of one or more UNL courses needed to graduate.
The deadline to request a Nebraska Graduation Pledge due to the circumstances listed above has now passed.
