College students are often making uninformed decisions regarding their finances. The National Student Financial Wellness Study found 7 out of 10 college students feel stressed about their finances. And nearly 1 in 3 students on our campus worries about not having enough food until they get money to buy more.

Nebraska’s Big Red Resilience and Well-being (BRRWB) aims to support students’ financial well-being by educating students and connecting them to resources based on their individual financial situations. BRRWB’s Student Money Management financial well-being coaches support students in making changes in their financial practices and direct students to a number of resources including Husker Pantry, budgeting apps, and free personal finance programs such as Financial Avenue.

Students can schedule their one-on-one financial well-being coaching appointment by visiting unl.edu.smmc and choosing a time that fits their schedule.
