Financial Aid Specialist

Position is part of the OSFA processing team comprised of associate and assistant directors, specialists and support staff. Responsible for verifying income and other information on financial aid applications, calculating refund and repayment amounts for withdrawn students and overseeing the Federal Perkins Loan and TEACH Grant program reporting and master promissory note processing. Assist with awarding financial aid for spring and summer sessions. Work with the other specialists in assisting with any processing functions including, but not limited to, revising aid due to grade level progressions, over cost and over need situations and mid-year graduation and processing of Direct Loan program reports. Position is cross-trained to be able to assist other staff in performing critical business operations.
