Student Leadership Scholarships for Freshmen
The University of Nebraska recognizes students who excel and demonstrate leadership both inside and outside of the classroom with two scholarships: the Chancellor's Leadership Class Scholarship and the Pepsi Service Scholarship.
For scholarship consideration, incoming freshmen must complete an Admissions Application and submit supporting documentation by February 1st, as well as take the ACT or SAT by the February national test dates of their senior year. Additional documentation is required to be considered for the scholarships listed below. Please check the Admissions website at admissions.unl.edu for further details.
The Chancellor's Leadership Class Scholarship is offered to freshmen who exhibit outstanding leadership throughout high school. This scholarship provides $1,000 for their freshman year only. Applicants must submit a Personal Statement via the admission application or MyRED.
Pepsi Service ScholarshipThe Pepsi Service Scholarship is offered to freshmen from Nebraska who exhibit outstanding volunteer service and leadership while in high school. This scholarship provides $1,000 for their freshman year only. Applicants must submit a Personal Statement via the admission application or MyRED.
